4.2 While we strive to ensure all course materials are accurate, up to date, and of high quality, the delivery and specific content of individual courses is the responsibility of the respective instructor or course provider. Study Mate Central does not accept liability for any dissatisfaction with specific course content.

4.3 We reserve the right to update, modify, or withdraw any course content, format, or delivery method without prior notice, where this is reasonably necessary for operational or quality reasons.

4.4 If you experience any technical difficulties accessing a course, please contact our support team and we will work to resolve the issue as promptly as possible.

4.5 Course certificates, where provided, are for personal development purposes and do not constitute regulated or accredited qualifications unless explicitly stated.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

5.1 Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the transaction date and receive a full refund — provided you have not yet started or accessed the course content.

5.2 If you begin accessing course materials within the 14-day cooling-off period, you acknowledge that you are waiving your statutory right to cancel. By starting the course, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the service.

5.3 For purchases made through Reed.co.uk or other third-party platforms, the cancellation policy of that platform will also apply alongside ours.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 All content on the Study Mate Central platform — including but not limited to course materials, videos, graphics, text, logos, and branding — is the intellectual property of Study Mate Central or the respective course instructor, and is protected by copyright law.

6.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access purchased course content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or share course materials in any form without our prior written consent.

6.3 Where you upload or submit content to our platform (such as reviews, comments, or instructor materials), you confirm that you own the rights to that content and grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it in connection with the operation and promotion of our platform.

6.4 We reserve the right to remove any user-generated content that breaches these terms or our community standards, without notice.

7. Acceptable Use
